Private 1:1 Session Child

1 child per 1 instructor. ( please note that if your child is under age 2 they will automatically be a 1:1) ​

 

$80 per lesson which includes a 30 minute swim lesson. ​

Semi-Private 1:2 Session 

 

2 children per 1 instructor. ( please note that if your child is under age 2 they will automatically be a 1:1) ​

 

$58 per lesson, per child, which includes a 30 minute swim lesson. Children will be grouped based on age and skill level.

 

Finding your own pair is encouraged to guarantee a 1:2 group. ​

Private 1:1 Session Adult

 

1 adult per 1 instructor.

​$80 per lesson which includes a 30 minute swim lesson.

 

Please note that our adult lessons are completely private meaning it is only you and the instructor in the pool at the time

GENERAL POLICIES

  • We are currently on a pay as you go model. Your account will be charged on the Thursday prior to the scheduled lesson by 12 pm.  We will assume you are coming on your scheduled day/time unless you inform us otherwise, via text or phone call, prior to being charged . 

  • If you are unable to come to your lesson or would like to make a change to your day/time, please text (551) 284-6305 or call the office at (201) 357-0417 by 12 pm the Thursday prior to your lesson to avoid being charged

  • Communication is primarily done via text, unless otherwise indicated, at our texting line (551) 284-6305 

  • If the gym is closed for a holiday, we reserve the right to pick a day and time for a rescheduled lesson

  • Specific instructors or times are not guaranteed

  • If an instructor is out, The Therapy Gym will provide a substitute instructor.

SICKNESS, CANCELLATIONS, AND MAKEUPS

  • Fever, vomiting/diarrhea, pink eye, sore or rash on the skin including chickenpox, or lice, exhibiting COVID -19 symptoms is considered sickness for the purpose of using the pool. Please do not come  to the pool if these symptoms are being exhibited by the lesson participant

  • Please notify us via text or call at least 24 hours prior to your regularly scheduled swim lesson if the lesson participant is ill (self or your child). If we receive notification for an excused sick absence as per our terms, then we would offer a date/time to reschedule.

  • Makeups will only be offered when you give prior notice that you will be absent.  We do not book makeups for unexcused absences.

  • All make-ups will expire within a month from the day of the missed lesson. If The Therapy Gym must cancel a lesson, a make-up class may be scheduled. In the event an instructor is unable to teach, we reserve the right to substitute an instructor without any prior notice.

  • You may provide 3 options of days/times that you have available for makeups. You will be offered up to 3 options for makeup times. If you are unable to attend one of those lesson times, your makeup session will expire. 

  • If the gym is closed for a holiday, we reserve the right to pick a day and time for makeup classes.

  • Makeup requests can only be submitted by texting us at (551) 284-6305 

  •  Specific instructors or times are not guaranteed for make-ups.

PAYMENT

  • Full payment will be charged for lessons by 12 pm the Thursday evening prior to the lesson date. A credit card is required to be kept on file at the time of registering.  

  • We do offer a 10% discount for siblings which is applied to ONE sibling's lesson

NO EATING

  • We have a strict NO EATING policy at The Therapy Gym. Please do not bring food into the waiting room, sensory gym, or the pool area.

SAFETY

  • All child students must be accompanied by an adult at all times when entering and departing the building and during the swim program.

  • NO ONE may enter the pool or treatment areas unless accompanied by a staff member. 

  • We cannot permit siblings and/or parents to walk through our facility or to use equipment during a child’s treatment time.

  • Our waiting room should be able to provide a sufficient area for family/friends to wait.

  • The top lock on the inside pool door is to be relocked whenever entering or exiting the pool area to ensure the safety of the children both in the pool and treatment areas.

DRESS CODE

  • Swim shorts for boys/men, 1 piece or 2 piece bathing suit for girls, 1 piece bathing suit for women

  • Please bring goggles (optional) and a towel

  • We do not have a shower but have bathrooms and changing rooms

  • Children who are 3 years old and younger, or not toilet trained, must wear water diapers or they will not be allowed to swim.

  • Children who are potty trained, need to be escorted to the bathroom by a parent or guardian or they need to be able to independently toilet themselves.

  • Please arrive wearing your bathing suit under your clothes so that you are ready to swim.
